The Foundational Thinking Hack in April, 2016

We are running a hackathon for two days in April to explore how trusts and foundations can innovate and change to better serve the needs of the organisations they support.

Get in touch if you’d like to sign up to the hack.

The Hack

The hack runs from 9.30am on Monday 11th April until 6pm on Tuesday 12th and will be held at The Old Fire Station on George Street in Oxford.

Over two days of intensive collaboration we will look at how trusts and foundations can innovate and change to better serve the needs of the organisations they support. Our aim is to design, develop and deliver practical and tangible products, services or initiatives that contribute to this change.

Participants will work in teams to brainstorm and prioritise ideas, rapidly prototype and test them, design and develop those that are considered viable and then launch them (fully or in beta) to the world.

You are invited to attend if you are active in the trust and foundation world – as grant giver or support provider, or if you are actively engaged in efforts to support this world transform its practice.

Pre Hack Dinner

We’ll have dinner together the night before, from 7pm on Sunday 10th April at the Turl Street Kitchen. Let us know if you’d like to join.

Pre Hack Preparation

We’ll get back to you nearer the time as to event practicalities and format, and how to prepare (we are doing some basic research to set the scene so there’ll be some pre-event reading that’ll be circulated).
